Chapter 1
April dipped her feet into the cool pool of were the water naiads lived in. Of course they lived in any type of water (except drinking water and small droplets) but the pool was the place where all water sprites went to one time or another. April sighed. She had been living in the Magic Land for as long as she could remember. No she wasn't a fairy, or a dryad, or a sprite she was just mortal but she had magic in her or else she would have never been able to get to the Magic Land. The Magic Land is a place holding magical creatures. Fairies, phenixes, sprites, and anything good and magical you can think of lived there. It was every child's dream land. When April was only 5 she discovered The Magic Land. Having magic inside her made her be able to do and see thing most humans can't. One day she stumbled into one of the ways to get to the Magic Land and stayed there not wanting to leave. Now 13 she pretty much knew everything to do with the Land of Magic. Fairies thought her how to use their magic, she learned how to make potions (the good kinds), and how to be more in touch with nature. April sighed again. She liked life here but it was really peaceful even for her. The nymphs and fairies were nice and always had something new to show her but she needed excitement and adventure. April want to do something daring, go back to the homeland (as she and everyone else in the Magic Land called it) and do something there. But she had no clue how to get there. Plus, April was to afraid to ask. She had been to the homeland before with some of the fairies but it was quick and just visiting some other fairies to trade ingredients and gossip. April needed to be on her own. Drying her feet on the grass she started to walk. The wind nymphs blew through her hair almost making sure that each hair was off her neck. April sat down and began to practice some of her nature magic. Growing a small flower April sighed for the 3rd time. Was there even a way to get out of the Magic Land?
